Annual Backflow Testing
The purpose of annual backflow testing is to assure the performance of backflow prevention assemblies which prevent the occurrence of cross contamination with the water supply or within a plumbing system. Assemblies can be found on potable water supplies, fire lines, irrigation systems, and internal equipment feeds. The testing is required by the NYS Department of Health code section 5-1.31 and enforced by the local water purveyor.
Installation of Backflow Assemblies
As required by state code, all new construction requires the installation of backflow prevention assemblies. You may also be asked to install an assembly on an existing water main to bring a premise up to code. We can provide a free estimate to correctly install your assembly and guarantee compliance with current water purveyor requirements.
